DCSports87 is the 2nd-largest eBay sports card store by volume, selling about 110,000 cards every week for collectors around the world. We're family-run, we're growing fast, and we're hiring Shipping/Photo Specialists to help us keep up. This is an entry-level role, and we'll train you.

About the role

As a Shipping/Photo Specialist, you'll photograph trading cards and collectibles for our online listings, then pack and ship them to buyers. Great photos help our customers' cards sell, and accurate, careful shipping gets them safely to collectors. Every card belongs to a customer, and some are worth thousands of dollars, so attention to detail is everything.

Pay and schedule

• Location: Henrico, VA
• Pay: $20/hour
• Shifts: 7:30am–3:30pm, 8am–4pm, 10:30am–6:30pm, 1pm–9pm, 4pm–12am, and Saturday 8am–4pm
• Shift differentials: Extra pay for evening and weekend shifts
• Paid breaks: a paid 30-minute lunch and a paid 20-minute break
• Full-time position

What you'll do

• Photograph trading cards, memorabilia, and collectibles using company equipment and quality standards
• Prepare and stage cards for photos that accurately show condition, centering, and color
• Upload, organize, and maintain images in our inventory and sales systems
• Enter and verify product information and card details accurately
• Pack and process customer orders following company procedures
• Attach shipping labels accurately and prepare packages for carriers
• Keep an eye on shipping supplies and let management know when they're running low
• Keep inventory storage organized and handle valuable collectibles with care
• Help resolve order, shipping, and inventory issues
• Follow security procedures for handling high-value cards
• Work with your team to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent (if no longer in school)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to do repetitive work while keeping quality high
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English to follow safety procedures and complete documentation
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and other office equipment
• Trustworthy, reliable, and committed to our company values

Preferred:

• Knowledge of sports cards, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or other collectible card products
• Experience with photography, shipping, or order fulfillment

Physical requirements

This position requires the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Standing, walking, or sitting for long periods
• Working in a dark, low-light photography environment
• Bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders
• Repetitive hand and finger movements, such as staging cards, packing, and typing
• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs frequently
• Close vision for inspecting small details, including telling colors apart
• Working in narrow aisles in a warehouse environment with some noise
